You can install Apache on your dedicated server by following the simple steps given below :

1) http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi

2) #cd /usr/local/src

3) #wget http://mirrors.24-7-solutions.net/pu...d-2.2.8.tar.gz

4) #tar -xzvf httpd-2.2.8.tar.gz

5) #cd httpd-2.2.8.tar.gz

6) #./configure –prefix=/usr/local/apache

7) # make /compile

8) # make install /install

9) cp /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl /etc/initr.d/

10) #service httpd stop

11) #service httpd start

12) #httpd –v

If you have followed the steps correctly and everything goes well, Apache is installed on your Dedicated server.
