    Default possiblities

Use Exchange on Dedicated server, rather than of trying to host additional roles, services, or applications on an Exchange server. If Anything goes wrong with the Exchange server, The problem is easier to troubleshoot if only Exchange is Deployed, Using this it will helps to improve security because a Dedicated server has a smaller attack chances rather than a server that’s performing multiple Activities. Either more, Using dedicated servers eliminates the possibility of an unrelated service or application interfering with Exchange.
For running Exchange with super performance then ram should be above of 2 Gb.

Also please mention your Architecture, Requirements, like for how many users you needed it.

I think the best option is to choose an Exchanges server from a hosting provider who offers fully managed solutions. This would be a better option as you won't have to pay for the support offered. Though, this solution may be a little expensive as compared to having your own Exchange solution, however, it would prove to be a cheaper option in the long run.
