Default Connect with Linux Dedicated Server FTP

Hello, I need to hire a linux dedicated server, but I'm a novice at this, what steps I have to take to connect if I hire a linux dedicated server? Or is it more complicated?

    Please suggest me..

You can use programs like PUTTY or WinSCP.

Hello, I still have questions. For example if I have hired a dedicated server, I have to hire some more to upload the pages, such as hosting, I can use PUTTY instead of filezilla on my windows pc?

If you hire a dedicated server, it is more advisable to connect via ssh with putty, as you show up (you can check logs and other settings), if you want to connect any ftp software or filezilla, plus your website needs a name or a domain name.

Thanks for your collaboration, though it is still not very clear to me as I have to connect with ssh, I have to create some user to connect, I hope someone clears this doubt.

You can connect with the root account as dedicated server can let you access the data configuration, it works on port 22.
